For myself as a coach, I endeavour to learn more about tools I can add to my toolkit as a coach. I also work to live in a life of fulfillment by striving to be the best I can at whatever I choose – the biggest factor here is commitment and belief in myself. As a coach, I understand what it is to be listened to through the experience of being coached myself and to try different coaches and understand what each individual offers. As a coach, I am humble in my service to others through the deep privilege of sitting in that honoured place of listening at a level many of us may never experience. Through this commitment, I deliver myself to my worth.
An important part of dedication to any profession is ongoing commitment to training. Coaches can continually work to develop more tools to add to their toolkit. Coaches evolve through their own journey of self discovery and their commitment to what they do. A coach is generally a person who loves to help others and feels fulfillment from this. Many people are natural coaches in the way they listen to people and how they don’t necessarily ‘buy in’ to peoples stories. Sometimes those that work in human resources or psychology naturally develop to take on more of a coaching approach to what they do. A coach does not necessarily need to have experience within the field they are working in. Often this unbiased approach can result in new solutions found outside the norm.
